Meetings are always announced in the Necessary Trouble Alert.
Zoom Meetings: We meet as group once a month on either the 2nd or 3rd Sunday of the month.
In-Person Monthly Meetings: We have several large in-person gatherings a year. Work groups meet more frequently.
Work groups focused on specific issues and tasks are the heart of our work. They are where the most connection, creativity, and change take place. You can indicate your interest areas in the New Member Form.
Our current Work Groups are:
Bannering (making and displaying banners, including our "Be Brave With Us" campaign)
Campaigns (canvassing, phone banking, postcards)
Communications (spreading the word through social media)
Election Protection
Environmental Protection
Immigrant and Refugee Support
Legislative Advocacy
Mutual Aid
Protests and Actions (including serving as a Marshal or Medic)
Public Service Commission (addresses utility rates, data centers, and environmental protections)
Rural Partnerships and Support
Transgender Youth Support
Voting Rights
