WHY YOUR VOTE IN THE MAY 21 PRIMARY ELECTION MATTERS:

A crucial statewide race that will be on the ballot in May is a position on the Georgia Supreme Court. HOW GEORGIA REDISTRICTING IMPACTS YOU:

New maps of Georgia election districts were approved in 2024.  This means you may be in one district for 2024 -- and have a set of state house rep and state senator representing you in the legislature -- AND you could be in a DIFFERENT district for the 2024 state house and state senate elections! The state reps and state senators you elect in the 2024 elections will begin to represent you Jan 1 2025.

Step #1 - KNOW YOUR CURRENT DISTRICTS FOR ADVOCACY DURING THE 2024 GA LEGISLATIVE SEASION

Make sure you know what state house and senate districts you are currently in -- and who CURRENTLY represents you in the Georgia State House and Senate. These are the people to contact for issues related to the current legislative session.

Step #2 - KNOW YOUR DISTRICTS FOR VOTING IN 2024 (THEY MAY HAVE CHANGED!)

Make sure you know what state house and senate districts you will be voting on during the 2024 elections -- and who your incumbents will be.

MAKE YOUR PLAN TO VOTE EARLY:

Early voting for the Novermber 5, 2024 General Election will be available from Monday, October 14 to Friday, November 1, 2024.

To find early voting locations and hours:

1. Login to https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/, which takes you to your "My Registration Information" page.

2. Scroll down to your "Polling Information" box. At the bottom right, click on "Early Voting Polling Locations".

3. At the "Select Election" pop-up window, click "Next" (there's only 1 choice).

4. That takes you to the "Early Voting Locations" page. At the top of that page, you can search for a specific location or you can filter the list by distance. I did "filter by shortest distance" and it correctly organized the locations by shortest distance. Note that it took about 30 seconds for that sort to occur, so be patient!

If you're voting absentee in the November elections your Ballot Request is due by Friday, October 25, 2024. Request your ballot at https://secure my absentee ballot.sos.ga.gov/s/ . Absentee ballots must be received by Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

EVERY VOTE, EVERY VOTER.

Lets make a difference.
